Kerry Grøneng about herself
When I was 30 years old I began to paint, and my life got a different meaning. Being creative and frolic in the coulors, made life more exciting and eventful.
I painted classical figurative for some years, but missed the spontaneity and colours. Eventually the images became more abstract. I love flowers and colours and I am trying to convey the power and harmony in what I create.
Education:
Since 1990 I participated in several courses within the act, pastels, oils, acrylics, prints, watercolours and drawing. I have attended a 2 week painting course in Crete, Greece 6 times, twice in Turkey, Mallorca, Marocco and Egina, Greece.
In 1995-1997 I studied art at Verdal art academy with Olaf Andersen as a teacher.
Gallery:
In 2006 I opened my own gallery connected to my studio in Levanger, Norway
